As a Manufacturing Engineer, you support challenging projects, stabilize manufacturing processes, bring deep CNC know-how, and act as a central knowledge source for the entire organization. You apply your expertise practically, structure, document, and digitize it systematically to sustainably optimize manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Support technically demanding components, materials, and machining processes
- Step in for complex projects and acute production problems at short notice
- Define, analyze, and optimize CNC machining strategies and manufacturing processes
- Actively contribute your expertise in CNC, tool technology, and machining processes
- Advise software teams and operations professionally
- Act as a central knowledge source for machining, structure, document, and digitize best practices
- Participate in strategic technology and manufacturing decisions
- Work 100% on-site in Karlsruhe, Knielingen
Qualifications
- Technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Manufacturing Technology), completed technician training, or a comparable qualification
- 15–20 years of experience in machining
- Deep know-how in CNC machining, tool technology, and materials
- Both operational shop floor experience and strategic foresight
- Ability to convey complex technical knowledge clearly and understandably
- Solution-oriented, precise work with high quality standards
- Fluent in German and English
