Own the Architecture Behind Mission-Critical Integrations

Enterprise integration has never been more critical. Systems are increasingly distributed, security expectations are higher than ever, and integration has become a backbone of modern digital architecture.

Organizations need robust, secure, and scalable integration foundations that can evolve over time.

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will design and deliver these foundations using Apache Camel and open-source technologies, working on integration landscapes that are business-critical and technically challenging.

About Our Community

You will join a community of integration engineers and architects who care deeply about technical excellence, thought leadership, and sustainable architecture.

We collaborate across projects to share knowledge and experience, challenge designs, and continuously improve how enterprise integration is delivered.

Engineers are trusted with real ownership and supported by peers who enjoy discussing patterns, security, and emerging integration topics, always grounded in strong fundamentals.

Moments like our Technical University, internal hackathons, and community sessions are where we come together to learn, teach, and evolve our integration practices.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel
  • Define and structure Camel-based integration architectures
  • Design and support CI/CD-aligned delivery pipelines
  • Contribute to high availability, scalability, and resiliency patterns
  • Participate in architectural and analytical activities together with peers and client experts
  • Ensure operational readiness, including logging, monitoring, and observability
  • Advise clients on integration platform and architectural choices
  • Contribute, where relevant, to secure service exposure in agentic or AI-related contexts (MCP, RAG)

What You Bring

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Apache Camel as an integration framework
  • Proven experience with Quarkus (preferred) or Spring Boot
  • Solid expertise in Java and the JVM ecosystem
  • Strong experience in integration and application security, including:

*Identity providers

*OAuth2 and OpenID Connect

*HTTPS, TLS, and mTLS

*JWT, access tokens, scopes, and claims

  • Experience with API gateways and reverse proxies
  • Good understanding of enterprise networking concepts related to integration platforms
  • Familiarity with integration testing strategies and non-functional requirements
  • Experience with Red Hat products and/or open-source integration solutions
  • Comfortable working with:

*Linux-based environments

*Scripting and automation

*Containerized and cloud-native deployments

What It Means to Work with Us

You will work at a Best Workplace™ where technical excellence and collaboration matter.

You work in a consultancy model built around peer collaboration, not isolated assignments. You are part of an active technical community, not just a project team.

You contribute to defining architectural standards, patterns, and best practices, and you are encouraged to share knowledge, present, coach, and learn especially during Technical University, hackathons, and internal community sessions.

You combine hands-on engineering with client-facing advisory work in an environment that values autonomy, responsibility, and technical ownership.
