Job Description
The company is a semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly and test operation that produces analog and mixed signal products for high reliability and commercial applications. We are currently seeking a Wafer Fab Process Engineer at our Palm Bay, Florida location.
Wafer Fab Process Engineer
- Participate as a team member in supporting and improving the processes and equipment in the manufacture of integrated circuits. Includes the analysis of situations and data to solve problems, develop improvements, implement process controls and document results. Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with technical peers, management, fab & equipment technicians.
- Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductors.
- Reviews product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility of processing methods.
- Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes in diffusion, deposition and wafer fabrication and device physics.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Learns to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems.
Qualifications
Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.

The company deals with dual-use technology that is subject to U.S. export controls regulations. Under these regulations it may be necessary for the company to obtain U.S. government export license prior to release of technology to certain persons.
