What role you will play in our team

The Global Projects & LCS IT team delivers industry-leading business capabilities and computational sciences through proprietary, commercial-grade software.

Junior Software Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web applications using front-end frameworks like Angular or React
• Write clean, functional code for both front-end and back-end
• Design and develop APIs using C# and Web API
• Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
• Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior developers to implement new features
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment
• Use GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Work on desktop development projects as needed
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web development

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from a recognized university in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years experience. The ideal candidate will be with knowledge in Angular or React or Desktop development, C#, Web API, CI/CD, GitHub, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Angular or React.
• Strong knowledge of C# and Web API.
• Experience with desktop development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
