HIL Engineer (automotive)

Your Role

As a HIL Engineer, you will be working at the cutting edge of software testing within verification and validation for our market-leading partners in the automotive industry.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing HIL test environments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Conducting testing to validate and verify software/hardware performance.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting issues, providing effective solutions to enhance system reliability.
• Being able to build, maintain and commission HILs from specifications to deliver products, hands-on experience is highly meritorious.

Your Profile

We are now looking for an individual who is highly motivated and has a strong background in HIL development.

To be successful in this role, we are happy to see that you have:

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, or Physics) or equivalent.
• Testing Expertise: 7+ years of experience in HIL or SIL test environment development.
• Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with dSPACE (ControlDesk, ModelDesk, etc.), National Instruments (LabVIEW), or Vector tools (CANoe, CANape, VTESTstudio).
• Communication Protocols: Strong knowledge of vehicle communication systems including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and UDS.
