CTO – Chief Technology Officer (Passenger Vehicle Business)

Role Overview:

The CTO will lead the engineering function of passenger

vehicle business and will play a pivotal role in building a world-class

automotive product portfolio. This role involves overseeing the end-

to-end development and integration of vehicles with a focus on

electric vehicles (EVs). The CTO will also manage the execution of

technology transfer partnerships, particularly with Chinese

automotive partners.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead the overall engineering strategy, execution, and roadmap

for the passenger vehicle segment.

 Oversee all verticals: vehicle integration, design &

development, validation, testing, and operations.

 Manage technology partnerships and drive smooth execution of

international technology transfers.

 Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure product

excellence, cost efficiency, and timely market delivery.

 Drive innovation to position among the top automotive

brands in India.

Candidate Profile:

 20+ years of experience in automotive engineering, with a

strong focus on full vehicle programs.

 Proven leadership across multiple verticals in vehicle

development (preferably in EVs).

 Experience with international automotive ecosystems

(especially China, Europe, or the US).

 Ability to deliver large-scale programs from concept to SOP.
