Title: Factory Engineering Manager

Location: Rajpura, Punjab, India

Main Job Purpose:

The Engineering Manager is responsible for engineering projects and maintenance, including utilities, production lines, processing plants, and buildings. The primary objective is to implement improvements contributing to the factory’s PQCDSMI targets and maintain all operational and support elements of the sourcing unit.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage technical and maintenance teams to deliver projects, innovation, infrastructure, and services.
  • Develop and implement plans for optimal asset utilization and maintenance.
  • Lead innovation implementation and support regional network delivery.
  • Prepare and manage capital budgets and expenditure proposals.
  • Liaise with Category and Engineering Excellence teams for technology upgrades.
  • Implement capital projects portfolio following TPM principles.
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective work and project safety.
  • Lead Early Equipment Management and Planned Maintenance TPM pillar.
  • Improve site infrastructure needs and collaborate with Operations Team.
  • Manage projects, innovation, and maintenance budgets.
  • Establish preventative maintenance systems for plant and services.
  • Manage engineering contractors and ensure compliance.
  • Optimize maintenance costs and spare parts stock levels.
  • Implement energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
  • Coach and develop the team on technical issues.

Essential Professional Skills:

  • Engineering degree from a reputable university.
  • Expertise in category technology, budgeting, and planning.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
