Data Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data processing, ETL pipelines, and database technologies, along with hands-on experience in building scalable data solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines
• Work with large-scale data systems and optimize performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across systems.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 35 years of relevant industry experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and Shell scripting
• Good understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
• Familiarity with Pentaho (PBA) and Linux environments
• Basic knowledge of Java (advanced knowledge is a plus)
• Exposure to messaging/streaming tools like Kafka or Tungsten (good to have)
