Cloud Architect

About the Role

The Cloud Architect is responsible for the creation and execution of cloud infrastructure strategies. This includes designing and assisting with the development of cloud services and assets to meet business objectives. The role involves working closely with Product Management, Development, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams for migrating, building, and deploying applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Architecture Review for designs impacting the corporate cloud infrastructure.
• Offer guidance, standards, and architectural patterns for development solutions.
• Ensure platform consistency through automation and adherence to defined standards.
• Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the platform.
• Become a subject matter expert in two or more cloud sub-systems such as data and analytics platforms, Azure Artificial Intelligence platforms, security, monitoring, and networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of four to five years of technical experience working with cloud architecture, preferably Azure.
• Expert knowledge of cloud components and services (Storage, Configuration, Compute platforms, Containers, Entra ID, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JSON and YAML, and management tools like PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform (IaC), and Ansible.
• Understanding of Azure AI Foundry and Agentic AI.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

The starting salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 - $160,800 per year. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual performance.
