Role

As a process engineer, you play an important role in the manufacturing process of heater- and stencil plates (wafers) at our organization. In addition to your improvements, your solutions and ideas are essential when problems arise! Once the production process has been designed or improved, you maintain this process and examine the next improvements. You consider the bigger picture and work closely with your team and other departments in the company. You are the person who convinces management to purchase new machines or make changes to the process when it is truly necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up, monitoring, analyzing, and improving production processes of heater- and stencil plates;
  • Maintaining the stability of the released processes;
  • Inventorying and documenting these processes;
  • Composing process descriptions;
  • Testing new processes, machines, and techniques;
  • Independently implementing changes;
  • Searching for new developments, equipment, and techniques;
  • Solving problems and providing advice;
  • Brainstorming and consulting with other engineers and experts.

About you

You are a team player who is result oriented and hands on. You get excited by solving problems with simple solutions. It is crucial that you are an innovative and creative person. You develop the processes in a cost-conscious and efficient manner without compromising on quality. You are fully capable of rolling out your plans within the organization and you don’t panic when the desired results aren’t achieved immediately. You remain persistent in order to always reach the intended outcome.

Qualifications

  • You are a skilled Process Engineer with strong knowledge and practical experience in deposition and dry etching techniques in a Semiconductor environment (at least 10 years of experience)
  • Knowledge and experience of LPCVD (Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition) and Dry-etching processes
  • BsC/MsC degree
  • Self-propelling, well-organized and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written
