Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

This role will be a key driver of safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing operations. The core mission is to develop, optimize, and maintain assembly and test processes for product lines, ensuring alignment with strict quality standards, safety regulations, and productivity goals.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve assembly and test processes, including methods, layout, and equipment, to meet quality, safety, and efficiency requirements.
• Procure new tools and equipment, including technical specifications, statement of works, installation supervision, and site acceptance tests.
• Create and maintain documentation, including technical work instructions, control plans, and production procedures.
• Ensure product quality, conformity, and compliance with defined methods, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain quality system, report deviations, and define and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with other factories to ensure efficient and safe assembly processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology and engineering-related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes; machining or assembly & testing background is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in creating documentation.
• Maritime industry background is preferred.
• Good learning agility and willingness to learn and explore new manufacturing methods.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-region, cross-function teams.
• Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
