Responsibilities

• Architect and design solutions, including proof of concepts and technical spikes.
• Articulate architecture-level decisions with stakeholders and development teams.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions.
• Develop and design webservices and microservices-based solutions.
• Design cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Create containerized systems with interoperability and over-the-air updates.
• Implement security compliances to protect automotive data.
• Run architecture refactoring workshops with development teams.
• Build reference architectures in the mobility domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure, industry-compliant connected mobility solutions.

Foundational Experience

• Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts on prioritization and release plans.
• Review design approaches and pull requests.
• Apply Agile engineering practices during design workshops.
• Describe architecture using UML, C4 Model, and industry-endorsed notations.
• Apply design principles such as GRASP, SOLID, DRY, and YAGNI.
• Design and review test suites for scalability and performance requirements.
• Conduct live debug sessions with development teams on Java profiling.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies relevant to the automotive industry.

Desired Experience

• Strong background with Automotive OEMs and connected mobility solutions.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and customizing solutions for OEMs.
• Experience delivering complex automotive projects with consulting and client engagement.
• Experience deploying IoT solutions, preferably in the Indian automotive market.
• Support Business Development/Sales teams with technical insights.
• Familiarity with mobile-first development guidelines for connected vehicle applications.
