Value Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Description

As a Value Engineer, you will actively shape the development and optimization of technical solutions. With your expertise, you will drive existing or innovative new processes and ensure that the highest quality standards are met. You will work hand in hand with interdisciplinary teams to overcome technical challenges. Your contribution is crucial for the successful implementation of projects and the continuous development of products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create best practice calculations for internal and external products
• Derive technical and commercial optimization measures
• Review the supply chain and internal costs using Green-/Brownfield calculations
• Conduct make or buy analyses
• Support negotiations and supplier evaluations
• Validate the economic viability of new technologies
• Build and maintain a best practice database
• Actively participate in Design to Cost & Design to Manufacture workshops

Qualifications

• Technical education with commercial training
• Solid knowledge in cost accounting
• At least 3 years of professional experience in cost engineering, supply chain, or product management
• Analytical thinking skills

Our organization values motivation and willingness to learn over perfect expertise. The annual salary is based on professional experience and education, ranging from €53,000 to €70,000 gross per annum on a full-time basis. This range can be adjusted based on exceeding requirements.
