Role: Service Fulfilment Domain Expert

Join our telecom OSS team as a Service Fulfilment Domain Expert, where you will ensure smooth operations, integration, and automation of service fulfilment processes across multi-vendor environments. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and deploying fixes, while working in Agile and DevOps-driven delivery. This role offers exposure to modern CI/CD practices, API integrations, monitoring tools, and large-scale OSS ecosystems.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 support for OSS Service Fulfillment applications, ensuring high SLA compliance.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis for permanent fixes.
  • Develop and deploy bug fixes and automation scripts using Java, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting.
  • Configure and maintain middleware components such as WebLogic, ActiveMQ, and JMS.
  • Perform deployments and patch management using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Support API-based integrations (SOAP/REST) and ensure smooth data flow across systems.
  • Work in Agile and DevOps teams to improve processes and delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Maintain documentation, operational guides, and knowledge transfer for the team.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Must have:

  • 6+ years in OSS application support and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for OSS Domain.
  • Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting for bug fixes and automation.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic, ActiveMQ, JMS.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments (RHEL).
  • Knowledge of TMF standards and OSS workflows.
  • Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) for patch deployments.
  • Ability to analyze logs and resolve integration issues.
  • Understanding of API-based integrations and SOAP/REST services.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Proven track record in resolving high-priority incidents under SLA.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Good to have:

  • Worked in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Experience in vendor coordination for assurance tools.
