We are seeking a master's level engineer who wishes to participate in the development of a local consulting firm in Bergen within the fields of road and water and wastewater systems. The position of Senior Engineer in Water and Wastewater offers significant opportunities for the right person who wants to work in a firm that is an alternative to larger consulting firms.

Responsibilities

• Technical design and consulting in water and wastewater engineering
• Conduct studies and framework plans for water and wastewater systems
• Plan stormwater management and analyses
• Develop construction plans, technical descriptions, and tender documents
• Advance the use of BIM within the organization
• Apply for permits for projects
• Communicate with public authorities
• Develop safety, health, and environmental plans for projects
• Manage and follow up on own projects and clients
• Oversee construction work

Qualifications

• Master's degree in water and wastewater engineering
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Familiarity with AutoCad/Trimble Novapoint and ISY is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of TEK17 and municipal water and wastewater standards in the Bergen region
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian, both oral and written
