Job Description

The position involves maintaining, modifying, and developing software applications for automated systems. Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and developing automated solutions to optimize processes and increase equipment efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and cybersecurity excellence, ensuring all projects meet established standards.
• Maintain the functionality of automation systems, implementing corrective measures as needed to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Contribute to the maintenance, development, and improvement of programming standards to optimize the development and maintenance of automated systems.
• Participate in the analysis, planning, and execution of automation work with stakeholders to ensure all tasks are completed according to priorities and guidelines.
• Update documentation and engineering diagrams during maintenance, modification, or implementation of automated system programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in robotics engineering, electrical engineering, or automated production.
• Three years of relevant experience in automation.
• Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ).
• Valid driver's license (class 5).

Assets

• Knowledge of PCS-7 and programming languages CFC, SFC, SCL.
• Knowledge of ABB automation products.
• Knowledge of Kuka robots (KRL language).
