Help build the future of human exploration. We are hiring a Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and verification of a Lunar program that will carry astronauts across the Moon. What You Will Do
  • Work with subsystem leads to evaluate designs against technical performance measures and ensure healthy margins
  • Own and manage key technical budgets, including mass, power, and interface allocations
  • Lead development of cross-cutting vehicle designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Create and maintain internal and external interface control documents (ICDs)
  • Develop analysis plans and test plans using verification and validation methodologies
  • Support test documentation and ensure traceability back to requirements
  • Perform system-level modeling and analysis to optimize vehicle performance, safety, and reliability
  • Maintain engineering documentation such as MELs, BOMs, and design data products
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Collaborate with Insight teams through recurring working group sessions
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering or related field
  • 5 or more years of experience in systems engineering
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, flight hardware, and flight software
  • Proven experience in requirements management, interface control, and verification planning
  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo
  • Proficiency in requirements tools such as DOORS or Jama
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Class A missions, human spaceflight, or human-rated vehicle development
  • Familiarity with ITAR/EAR documentation and handling of export-controlled technical data
  • Experience with mission operations, system integration, and test campaign planning/execution
