DGM- Design & Engineering Artillery

Lead a team of mechanical engineers in the Design & Engineering function. Design and engineer defense equipment for artillery systems. Engage in system engineering and layout design. Develop concept designs and engineer mechanical subsystems from first principles. Design structures and select mechanical components. Select materials and possess knowledge in manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, fabrication, and machining. Generate specifications for purchased items and create drawings with dimensioning using GD&T. Be an expert in 3D CAD software like UGNx and SolidWorks, as well as PLM software. Provide support to the manufacturing and execution team at assembly shops and vendor facilities. Assist the documentation team in creating various documents for submission to customers. Knowledge in FEM and analysis software will be an added advantage.
