Analog IC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership from definition to release to manufacturing.
• Direct, guide, and participate in activities of a research or technical design function.
• Make assignments for team members, providing design guidance, developing schedules, and monitoring progress.
• Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and silicon evaluation.
• Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
• Collaborate with Design Verification teams to ensure completion of technical tasks.
• Work with systems engineers, application engineers, and marketing to prepare product briefs and datasheets.
• Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams for successful production transfer.
• Interface and lead discussions with customers and TI field sales/field applications teams.
• Actively participate in hiring, developing, and evaluating personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/master’s degree in ECE/EE/Instrumentation/Communication.
• 5+ years of experience in analog & mixed signal IC Design.
• Familiarity with high-speed, high-resolution ADC or DAC design techniques.
• Strong competency in transistor level design and implementation.
• Experience in designing high performance blocks like band-gap references, PLLs, LDOs, etc.
• Expertise in tools such as Spectre and Virtuoso.
• Experience with Silicon validation and debug.
• Understanding of chip level ESD/LU, EM, IO, and reliability requirements.
• Good mentoring, communication, and teamwork skills.
