It's more than a job

In this IT role, you will manage, develop, and support the technology infrastructure that powers our organization's global systems and operations. This contribution is vital to making both special and ordinary moments in the lives of people a reality. In fact, your work enables our teams to deliver fresh fruit, time-sensitive healthcare products and much more to people all around the world. Working in IT at our organization contributes to more than we imagine.

Are you a talented DevOps engineer with a passion for automation and solving complex challenges? Join our international team in Tallinn and play a pivotal role in building and supporting the successful delivery of value in our Road Logistics products.

The main focus of this role is development-oriented. You will design, implement, and maintain the DevOps platform that supports the development process and release pipelines for Road Logistics applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle. A key aspect of the role is optimizing workflows through automation and well-architected systems. Additionally, you will be involved in migrating applications to containers and cloud environments, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS. Ensuring the efficient utilization of cloud-based infrastructure and services across all teams is essential, preventing silos or “knowledge islands.” You will also champion best practices such as observability, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GitOps, seamlessly integrating them into the existing infrastructure and processes.

How you create impact

  • Manage the service with current clients and ensure compliance with service levels stipulated in the contract through monitoring MBR and QBR. Establish recovery plans for deviations in service level.
  • Participate, supervise, and validate the commercial process.
  • Release technical solutions and re-quotation proposals (right pricing).
  • Update rates according to the contract. Design and implement the commercial strategy in conjunction with the commercial team.
  • Design and develop the annual and medium-term business plan for the business unit. Establish the financial objectives of the business unit based on the annual objective. Supervise and manage the P&L at the national level.
  • Authorize the monthly rolling forecast of the business unit. Identify operational requirements in distribution centers and manage the purchasing process in coordination with the Finance Department.
  • Design and validate general and specific operation processes (SOP), regulations in the business unit, as well as supervise their compliance, according to corporate policies. Disseminate and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines. Evaluate the performance of the distribution center management. Supervise the periodic evaluation of compliance with supplier KPIs of the distribution center.
  • Update job descriptions in the organization of dedicated/shared warehouses according to operational needs and service requirements.
  • Supervise that business unit employees meet the job profile they occupy and design action/development plans in conjunction with operational managers and establish objectives for the business unit and individuals that help us evaluate their performance in accordance with the organization's regulations (HR, CL, finance, QSHE, and safety).
  • Promote multifunctional training in the organization to strengthen talent in the business unit.
  • Develop and grow operations in the Bajio/Guadalajara area.

What we would like you to bring

  • Graduate in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or a related field in logistics.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Contract Logistics business.
  • Experience in commercial reviews and negotiations with clients.
  • Experience leading large teams.
  • Management of P&L.
  • Advanced English.
