Application Engineering Supervisor

About the Role

Ensures timely responses to customer inquiries & technical queries for engineering to order products. Technical clarification coordinating with sales & sister plant engineer for technical issues. Making and releasing a set of vendor printing drawings as project. Controlling and managing AE Standard drawing for finished goods. Reviewing and checking the conformity of delivered products with explosion protection requirement. Key project progress/capability update report.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotation for ETO product (Angebot/ESplan/Calcsheet)
• Sister plant quote & drawing review (UK / CEAG / Syracuse /Spain / CES / SEA)
• Prepare approval drawing on after sales process. (Vendors print preparation /drawing /Manual.)
• Prepare general drawing on quote status.
• Project vendors print tracking with team
• Technical review for ETO product
• Schedule document SAP upload
• Technical clarification (Meeting with customer & sister plant)
• Lighting calculation Technical support customer response (data preparation / conduct the requested test)
• ETO Technical information sharing to agent & sales
• KCs Certification maintaining & new issued / part of R&D role (Optional)
• Audit document preparation and audit progress / ISO & KC & internal audit /part of QC role (Optional)
• Quality issue clarification and close the issue with QC
• Training
• AE work tracking report
• Bline related report

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical
• More than 10 years’ experience in electromechanical design.
• Electrical / Ex proof / English / Lighting calculation / Chinese (Preferred) / Germany (Preferred)
• AutoCAD / ESPLAN / Dialux evo / Office 365 / Solidworks (Preferred)
• Experience in project management, technical support, and quality control.
