AI Business Process Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic AI Business Process Engineer to serve as the critical link between advanced AI development and clinical operational reality. This position focuses on workflow transformation and operational readiness, ensuring that AI solutions are effectively integrated into reimagined human workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Discovery & Diagnostic Analysis ("As-Is")
  • Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with clinical staff, operations leaders, and administrative personnel to map comprehensive current-state workflows.
  • Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and non-value-added activities to ensure AI is applied to optimize processes.
  • Develop detailed user journey maps that highlight decision points, data entry requirements, and user pain points.
• AI Workflow Design & Optimization ("To-Be")
  • Design future-state operational workflows that accommodate new AI capabilities.
  • Develop protocols for "Human-in-the-Loop" scenarios, including exception handling and validation steps for AI-generated content.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) bridging algorithmic predictions and human decision-making.
• Strategic Implementation & Change Management
  • Act as the primary translator between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Define success metrics focusing on workflow efficiency, user adoption rates, and reduction in administrative burden.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with a focus on process validation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Process Engineering, Operations Strategy, or Clinical Transformation.
• Expert-level proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN standards).
• Understanding of how AI/ML solutions impact business operations.
• Experience within the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or Agile methodologies.
