Responsibilities

  • Preparation: Checking the work scope and identifying risks, resulting in risk analyses if necessary. Developing the basic design in detail, including compiling parts lists.
  • Procurement Preparation: Upon assignment, you ensure the procurement overview of materials and services so that the procurement department can order them.
  • Project Planning: Compiling production files, project schedules, and work instructions for production. Preparing test and inspection plans.
  • Administration and Reporting: Ensuring correct handling of project administration and reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Experience: Several years of work experience as a Project Engineer or Work Preparer at MBO+ or HBO level in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Offshore/Energy sector or related industries.
  • IT Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably Ridder IQ.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Passion for Technology

Role Description:

As a Design Engineer in Electrotechnics, you will be responsible for setting up and developing electrotechnical designs and calculations within Sustainable Building Services & Physics (SBS&P). Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completed HBO or WO education in electrotechnics (installation technology).
  • At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Intrinsically motivated to work on the sustainability of building-related installations.
  • Practical orientation with an affinity for building-related installations.
  • Initiative-taking and thinking in suitable, innovative solutions, even when they are not obvious.
