Design Engineer Elektrotechniek

Role Description:

As a Design Engineer in Electrotechnics, you will be responsible for setting up and developing electrotechnical designs and calculations within the Sustainable Building Services & Physics (SBS&P) team. Your designs will often involve complex and innovative electrotechnical installations, such as medium and low voltage installations, lighting, fire protection, detection systems, and communication networks. You will prepare the necessary calculations, create principle diagrams, and lay the foundation for the installation design. Your work will be conducted in a digital BIM environment, using Autodesk products like Revit and BIM360Docs.

Responsibilities:

• Independently handle complex and innovative electrotechnical installation issues.
• Coordinate your design with other involved disciplines within and outside the organization.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for building-related installations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completed HBO or WO education in electrotechnics (installation technology).
• At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Motivated to work on the sustainability of building-related installations.
• Practical orientation with an affinity for building-related installations.
• Initiative-taking and innovative in finding solutions.
• Familiar with Dutch installation technical laws and regulations.
• Strong social and communication skills.
• Proficient in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Revit is a plus.
