The Role

The Data Accelerator (DACC) team at our organization is seeking a Silicon Design Verification Engineer who will be involved in multiple aspects of IP verification. This role is an excellent opportunity to work on next generation technologies that are part of our products powering Servers, Datacenters, Client and Embedded markets. You will join one of the fastest-growing areas of adding custom hardware offload engines to support complex operations like encryption, authentication, compression, GPU/CPU compute offloads & virtual machines live migration. This is a tremendous opportunity to get in early into the rapidly expanding domain of custom hardware accelerators. The Design Verification (DV) group within this team is responsible for developing a scalable DV flow and environment with emphasis on automation (using AI), power and performance verification (PPV) and emulation support. The Person

You have a passion for modern functional verification techniques and are eager to learn new designs and implementation methodologies. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain block level IP verification testbenches and infrastructure
• Develop detailed test plans for covering new features
• Develop test case with constraint random stimulus, predictors and scoreboards
• Triage regressions, debug simulations, analyze coverage, work/resolve technical issues with design, verification and other teams to achieve verification closure
• Deploy industry leading verification methodologies such as UVM and formal verification
• Reproduce silicon functional bugs in simulations and/or formal verification tools
• Conduct and participate in code reviews
• Apply AI-driven solutions to streamline and enhance verification processes

Preferred Experience

• Proficient in Verilog, System Verilog, UVM and working in Linux and Windows environments
• Familiarity with formal verification and AI techniques for verification a plus
• Must be able to debug RTL code using simulation tools
• Familiarity with Makefiles, scripting languages like perl, python, ruby etc.
• Excellent programming skills with OOP

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for core applications and infrastructure services

Position Overview

The System Engineer will play a key role in the design, integration, and validation of complex railway systems, ensuring that all subsystems—signalling, rolling stock, communications, power, and control—work together safely and efficiently. This role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering teams, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-performing rail infrastructure and technology solutions across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Engineering

• Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and architectures for railway projects (e.g., signalling, train control, traction power, communications, and SCADA systems).
• Ensure alignment between operational needs, technical design, and safety requirements.
• Conduct system-level analyses including performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety.
• Manage interfaces between multiple subsystems and suppliers to ensure seamless integration.

Project Execution

• Support the full project lifecycle—from concept design to commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Participate in design reviews, hazard analyses, and safety assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain system documentation such as interface control documents (ICDs), verification and validation plans, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify risks, propose mitigations, and ensure technical deliverables meet schedule and quality standards.

Regulatory & Standards Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Transport Canada, CSA, ISO/IEC, and railway-specific standards (e.g., CENELEC EN 50126/50128/50129 or AREMA).
• Support safety certification and approvals in coordination with regulatory authorities and independent safety assessors (ISA).

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, or Software Engineering (Master’s degree an asset).

Experience:

• 9-15 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within the railway, transportation, or heavy infrastructure industries.
• Proven experience in systems engineering processes (requirements management, integration, testing, verification, and validation).
• Experience with railway systems such as CBTC, PTC, ETCS, or conventional signalling preferred.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies (e.g., DOORS, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink) considered an asset.

Certifications:

• Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in a Canadian province or territory.

Assignment Description

Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Discipline Engineering in the Conventional business. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing processes to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves analyzing data, developing process improvements, and collaborating with various teams to support the client's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize processes to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
• Provide technical engineering design and optimization support to the operation, including process modelling, compressor evaluations, equipment sizing and specification, and device sizing.
• Analyze operational data to troubleshoot issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements.
• Prepare process documentation, including Process flow diagrams, Piping and instrumentation Diagrams, Shut-down Keys, and Control narratives.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all process engineering activities.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer sanctioned by APEGA with ability to authenticate engineering deliverables.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge of Upstream Conventional oil and gas industry, well-pad, compressor station, oil battery, and facility design.
• Knowledge and application of frequently used codes (ASME B31.3, CSA Z662, etc) and Industry standards (API, etc).
• Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and control in brownfield and greenfield well pads, gathering sites, compressor stations, and facilities.
• Proficiency in using process simulation and modeling software: HYSYS, Promax.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
