Senior AWS DevOps Engineer – Cloud Migration

We are supporting a large-scale cloud transformation program involving the migration of 300+ applications to AWS. As part of a dedicated AWS Migration Epic, you will join a senior DevOps-focused team responsible for enabling and supporting application, database, and infrastructure migrations from on-premises and Azure environments to AWS.

You will work in a fully Agile setup, collaborating closely with architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure standardized, secure, and scalable cloud migrations using AWS-native and third-party technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and support large-scale AWS migration initiatives, focusing on rehosting and replatforming strategies
• Design and implement secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned with enterprise standards
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Support infrastructure provisioning using EC2, EKS, RDS, and CloudWatch
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in collaboration with internal teams
• Ensure compliance with internal security, architecture, and control frameworks
• Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, IAM, storage, and databases in hybrid environments
• Collaborate closely with cloud platform teams, architects, security, and delivery stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements (Senior Level)

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM)
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitHub Pipelines)
• Hands-on experience supporting AWS migration programs
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hybrid cloud environments
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and cost optimization in AWS
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments

Nice to Have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
• Experience migrating workloads from Microsoft Azure to AWS
• Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone / Accelerator tools
• Exposure to Kafka / event-driven architectures
• Experience with AWS migration tools (DataSync, DMS, SCT)
