Project Engineer - CI

Job Overview

Join our organization as a Project Engineer - CI, where you will play a crucial role in the installation of our new production facility and the ongoing development and improvement of processes, workflows, and the performance of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the installation and startup of a new production line.
• Build and optimize the technical function and routines of the line.
• Identify and implement process improvements to make production flow smarter, safer, and more efficient.
• Select and implement data collection points and methods, including sensor technology.
• Use data collection and analysis to initiate machine learning and implement automation and MES solutions.
• Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and management to ensure solutions are integrated into practice.
• Apply CI tools such as LEAN, including 5S, Kaizen, or other methods you are experienced with.

Qualifications

We expect you to have a background as a production technician/engineer or equivalent automation technician/engineer.

Experience

• Several years of experience in a production company, preferably in FMCG food. Solid experience with project work and installation, commissioning of new equipment, or comprehensive optimization of technical and operational performance in existing production.
• Experience with process improvements and documentation collection, and the ability to translate ideas into practical solutions.
• Strong technical understanding and hands-on work experience. Familiarity with process line control, including interfaces to databases and data collection for optimizing production processes or specific technical functions.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible for making things happen.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate across production, technology, and management.
• Experience with CI methods and a desire to develop further in systematic problem-solving and the use of LEAN methods involving operators, technicians, QA, suppliers to ensure lasting improvements.
• Comfortable in an international environment where English is part of everyday life.
