Mobile Developer (Android)

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Software Developer (Android) to take a leading role in designing and evolving the architecture of a cutting-edge mobility application for Android platforms.

You will be joining one of our international clients driving digital innovation and scalable solutions.

**Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Portugal and based in (or willing to relocate to) Lisbon. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What you'll do?

• Collaborate closely with software architects to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define and refine code design guidelines and architecture standards for Android development.
• Conduct technical reviews, mentor developers, and promote best engineering practices.
• Serve as a technical advisor to developers, product owners, and UX teams.
• Take ownership of architectural decisions, ensuring performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.

What you bring

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in professional Android development.
• Proven experience designing modular, maintainable, and scalable app architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Architecture Components.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI) and clean code principles.
• Hands-on experience with Gradle, Room, or equivalent persistence frameworks.
• Solid grasp of Android system architecture, performance tuning, and UI/UX design principles.
• Languages: English C1
