Cyber Exercise Engineer

Are you fascinated by the technical side of cybersecurity? We are looking for a specialist to plan and execute activities simulating real cyber domains to support cybersecurity exercises for various target groups.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to clarify expectations and requirements for cyber threat simulations
• Work with cybersecurity experts and content teams to ensure technical content accuracy and relevance
• Analyze cyber threat scenarios and translate them into technical infrastructure and software solutions
• Build and manage virtual infrastructure environments
• Create clear and structured documentation for internal and external use
• Provide feedback to cyber exercise participants (e.g., identified vulnerabilities, recommendations)
• Perform other tasks according to the job's purpose and competence

Ideal Candidate Characteristics

• IT education (vocational, applied, or higher education) or related certifications
• Experience in implementing technical solutions and collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams
• Knowledge of IT systems and Linux administration
• Ability to write and manage Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation
• Ability to use Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python for automation tasks
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure as code concepts
• Proficiency in Estonian and English at C1 level
• Willingness to apply for a state secret clearance (access to NATO/EU classified information)
