Driveability | Ride & Handling e-Powertrain Expert

We are searching for highly motivated engineers with excellent background in e-powertrains and a good level of English and Spanish to work in our team at Valladolid.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calibration of e-powertrain regarding torque demand, regenerative braking and other driveability related functions.
• Dataset development and validation to meet requirements in all ambient conditions.
• Planning and execution of a vehicle testing program.
• Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations.
• Reporting of results to project board.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Education: Mechanical/Automotive or similar Engineering degree.
• Master's or Ph.D. desirable.
• Provided understanding of powertrains and vehicle dynamics.
• Competences on ETAS INCA, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab Simulink.
• More than 5 years of automotive industry related topics (calibration, validation, software development) experience desirable.
• Expertise in e-powertrain calibration (regenerative braking, torque vectoring, chassis dynamics, ...).
• Knowledge of high voltage parts such as: BMS (Battery), Inverter (Electric Motor).
• English required, Spanish highly desirable, French is a plus.
• High sense of responsibility, goal-oriented and social skills.
• Extra curriculum activities like Formula Student is a plus.
• Driving license required.
