Your responsibilities:

  • Preparing technical studies to support commercial proposals.
  • Offering innovative technical solutions to commercial teams (comparisons and alternatives).
  • Supporting the Project Manager with design-related questions, including risk and opportunity analyses.
  • Maintaining contacts with external partners such as architects, design offices, and inspection agencies.
  • Conducting and guiding technical and economic optimization studies for projects.
  • Participating in kick-off meetings for technically complex sites.
  • Providing technical support to sites and optimizing method statements based on practical feedback.
  • Innovation processes focused on environmentally friendly solutions, such as material reuse and new calculation methods.
  • Research and development groups that focus on international technical literature and academic collaborations.
  • Advanced analyses beyond the geotechnical scope, such as reinforced concrete or steel structure calculations.
  • Internal and external technical and social events within the organization.

Your qualifications:

  • A master degree in geotechnical, civil, or industrial engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a structural or geotechnical design office.
  • Excellent of Dutch or French.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A results-oriented, critical, and creative mindset.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude.
