Design Engineer

Position: Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Create simple and advanced 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD & SOLIDWORKS from general written or verbal specifications.
• Lead role in coordinating and performing drafting responsibilities for assigned projects.
• Work closely with team members and clients to complete design and documentation of products.
• Release design information to clients.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and deliver as per schedule.
• Prepare Bill of Materials and documentation required for procurement.
• Engage in value engineering.
• Establish proper tracking of projects.
• Create and update a database of design records for future reference.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed as per quality requirements.
• Perform other design duties as required.

Qualifications:

• BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SOLIDWORKS & AutoCAD.
• Design experience of 2 to 4 years.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Strong drawing and detailing capabilities.
• Proficient in MS-Office.
• Good communication skills.
