AI & Data Engineer

About the Role

As an AI & Data Engineer, you will be responsible for two key areas within our organization:

• Data Foundation & Infrastructure: Design, build, and own all pipelines, data stores, and integrations to ensure scalability, security, quality, and compliance. You will have ownership from idea to operation, with support from our tech team.
• Data-First Personalization: Structure and enrich data to provide AI agents with rich and relevant context about customers and users, enabling smarter recommendations and more valuable interactions.

This role does not involve programming your own models or working low-level with AI. The focus is on assembling the right tools, data flows, and pipelines for effective and reliable AI solutions.

Your Workday and Tasks

You will structure your day to focus on results, collaboration, and value creation. Tasks include:

• Building and maintaining pipelines and data stores that support both product and AI.
• Implementing ETL/ELT flows and reverse-ETL for consistent and accessible data across systems.
• Ensuring data quality, auditability, compliance, and GDPR adherence.
• Designing architecture and being hands-on with implementation and operation.

About You

We expect you to have at least 3 years of relevant experience in data or AI engineering, working with data pipelines, data modeling, integrations, or AI/ML workflows. Experience with Python, SQL, and data pipeline tools is advantageous. Familiarity with vector DBs, embeddings, and LLM tools is a plus but not required.

Our Technical Challenge

We do not have a fixed setup for AI/data pipelines and tools, giving you the opportunity to design our entire data and AI infrastructure. The focus is on creating robust, scalable, and quality-assured solutions, not on working directly with the platform's backend/frontend or programming low-level AI models.
