Job Description

We are seeking a Sr Embedded Systems Specialist to join our education team. This unique role combines technical expertise in embedded software development with a passion for teaching and mentoring others. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing the University Curriculum, Embedded Systems: From Product Design to PCB Layout, a global university initiative developed to prepare industry-ready students in embedded systems, hardware engineering, and PCB design. This role is responsible for developing training materials and delivering technical training sessions for the University community from beginners to advanced students. As part of the education team, you will be responsible for introductory cross training on PCB design and the Designer Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively integrate creativity into the course curriculum to help students get aligned with the industry and manage the development and deployment of the course across the universities.
• Responsible for cross-functional collaboration in timely execution and setting up of the process.
• Deliver training sessions on the University Embedded Systems curriculum, and embedded software development, either virtually or in-person, to Professors and students.
• Act as a technical advisor and mentor to engineering faculty and students needing guidance on embedded system concepts, debugging best practices and basic PCB design skills.
• Analyze, review, and debug embedded software code to support student projects. Collaborate with product and application engineering teams to stay aligned with the latest hardware and software platforms.
• Provide technical feedback to development teams based on customer and trainee interactions.
• Support technical enablement of initiatives, documentation, and knowledge base development.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing and debugging embedded software, including use of tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and IDE debuggers.
• Expertise and development experience with Renesas, NXP, STMicroelectronics, or similar embedded platforms.
• Expertise and prior experience with Project management and tools is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a proven ability to present technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Japanese proficiency (Business-level is required for both verbal and written)
• Passion for education and mentoring, with the ability to adjust teaching style based on university level experience and background.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating technical training materials or online learning content.
• Experience in teaching or mentoring University level faculty and/or students.
• Experience working with QuickConnect Studio and QuickConnect kits.
• Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and peripheral integration.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python for test automation or tooling.
• Knowledge of standard communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.).
• Interest in teaching the embedded design ecosystem from product design to PCB layout.

Job Description

• Verify our organization's product like ARM processor based SOC and memory subsystem test chips
• Develop verification methodology and implement test bench components using System Verilog, UVM, and low power verification
• Develop comprehensive test plan and implement test cases to verify different test chips
• Work closely with Design and DFT teams to develop/verify various functional/DFT tests
• Write functional cover groups and cover points for coverage closure. Perform RTL code coverage, System Verilog Assertion coverage, System Verilog functional coverage
• Drive and adopt new verification methodologies and flows for efficiency improvements.

Qualification

• BCH and above in EE, CS related fields with 3-15 years of hands-on experience
• Strong problem solving, debugging and programming skills (Python/TCL/C++)
• Strong hands-on experience with architecting and developing IP/SoC level reusable verification environments using SystemVerilog UVM methodologies.
• Hands-on experience developing testbench and testcases in System Verilog
• Knowledge in Constrained Random and Coverage Driven testbench
• Gate Level Simulation experience
• Proficiency in English is a must

Job Description

The role involves optimizing packaging substrate design and manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities include managing substrate design rules, leading supplier DFM reviews, collaborating with simulation teams for thermomechanical and electrical simulations, and supporting substrate development engineers in supplier meetings.

Employment Details

Full-time position with no fixed contract period. The role is based in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, with a standard work schedule of 9:00 to 18:00. Remote work is generally not available due to the nature of research and development activities.

Responsibilities

• Address challenges within the AI Agent system (particularly workflow improvements, infrastructure updates, continuous integration, evaluation, and deployment to users)
• Design and implement scalable LLMOps/DevOps pipelines in cloud environments based on CI/CD best practices
• Maintain the environment for LLM improvements, including Docker images, and datasets
• Develop visualization, analytics, and monitoring for the AI Agent system
• Support the implementation of the elements surrounding the AI Agent system to meet advanced security standards

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability
• 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly in LLMOps, MLOps, DevOps, or related fields
• Professional experience building software on cloud platforms
• Professional experience with ML infrastructure, CI/CD, and visualization tools
• Business-level English

Nice to Haves

• Experience using DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and infrastructure management tools (e.g., k8s, Terraform)
• Experience with Azure Cloud (API Management, Durable Functions, Application Insights)
• Experience building applications using AI Agents and LLMs (Python, TypeScript)
• Knowledge of or strong interest in application security and infrastructure security

• Lead functional safety and SOTIF (Safety of the Intended Functionality) in automotive development projects.
• Support development processes using safety analysis methods.
• Lead communication and negotiation with customers regarding functional safety requirements, concepts, and assessments.
• Promote proposals and problem-solving related to functional safety and SOTIF internally and externally, collaborating with global teams (Germany, India, Hungary, etc.).

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills

English Proficiency

• TOEIC score of 700 or above is a guideline, but practical communication skills are prioritized. English training is available internally, and motivation to improve language skills is valued over scores alone.
