System Engineer (w/m/d)

Job Description

As a System Engineer, you will contribute to the technical definition, planning, and execution of development and series projects within the specified time and cost framework. You will communicate and coordinate within the System Engineering team and with subsystem managers regarding relevant subsystem interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Technical definition, planning, and execution of projects
• Communication and coordination within the team
• Planning and execution of complex system integration tasks and tests
• Analysis of system behavior and development of measures for error correction and product improvement
• Development of technical requirements for test setups and verification tools
• Participation in the creation of technical solutions during the offer phase
• Preparation of error analyses and project reports
• Presentation of work results internally and externally

Qualifications

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field
• Relevant professional experience in systems engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge in requirements and functional analysis, system architecture definition, system design, verification, and validation
• Experience in project, configuration, and risk management
• Physical understanding of processes in solid rocket engines
• Knowledge of MATLAB is desirable
• Strong communication skills, determination, and team-oriented work
• Independent, responsible thinking and working style
• High level of intercultural competence
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
