Responsibilities

  • Your main task will be to support software updates (SW updates) in the centralized vehicle fleet and test objects.
  • Deliveries on a daily basis will consist of updated test objects with agreed software levels, versions, and corresponding development files.
  • The work will follow one-engine tool instructions, as well as include software download maintenance connected to manual software download procedures, while also contributing to automation processes and alignment with rigs.
  • You will analyze and verify that the centralized vehicle fleet meets the required status in accordance with agreements.
  • You will ensure high-quality validation of software performance and confirm that standard capabilities are fulfilled.
  • Additionally, you will structure, build, and maintain scalable solutions for ways of working, data collection, and result analysis, enabling efficient and reliable decision-making.
  • Working closely with stakeholders within Test Farm Operations, across SWTC, Engineering Operations, and product management and engineering teams, you will promote technical excellence through data-driven reviews, recommendations, and best practices.
  • You will actively participate in technical alignment discussions, applying your system-level understanding to deliver fast and quality-assured outcomes aligned with the tech lead strategy, mission, and vision.
  • In addition, you will collaborate cross-functionally to combine data and insights from multiple departments, creating a comprehensive view of system performance.
  • You will also share knowledge and maintain clear technical documentation across environments to support continuous learning and improvement.

Background / Experience

  • You take initiative to introduce new solutions and do not hesitate to ask colleagues for help, while also supporting others when needed.
  • The role requires a driven individual with strong computer skills, a valid driving license (B), and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with clients internal processes and basic knowledge of DSA, PIE R&D, PIE, TEAMS, test object processes, and/or fault tracing is considered meritorious.

Preferred qualifications

  • Include experience in complete system-level testing (vehicle modes and architectural behavior), BaseTech testing (SWDL, diagnostics, gateways, etc.), and log analysis using tools such as CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT.
  • Knowledge of electrical fault tracing in test environments, along with mechanical and electrical understanding, is highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocols is also desirable.
