Job Description

In this position, you'll be a senior contributor and project leader within our Strategic Supply Chain Optimisation stream. You'll combine strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to frame ambiguous problems, guide cross-functional teams, and drive stakeholder alignment at senior levels. You'll understand how supply chains operate and how data-driven insights can influence long-term strategy.

Responsibilities
- Deliver projects as part of existing data science service lines, focusing on Operations stakeholders.
- Build robust data foundations and propose new ways of generating value for stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of data science initiatives.
- Support the Data Science Team with impact tracking, project and pipeline planning, and internal trainings.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, preferably in Operations/Supply Chain.
- Proficient in R, Python, SQL, with a willingness to learn the other two.
- Ability to prepare high-quality datasets and understand their implications.
- Understanding of modern computing, including git, API calls, and web crawling.
- Applied understanding of statistics and probability for business contexts.
- Strong project management and presentation skills.
- Ability to build beneficial connections with stakeholders.
- Pragmatic critical thinking and outcome-driven approach.
- Ability to define and formulate new questions and see projects through to completion.
Due to legal reasons, the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position is EUR 2,911 gross per month. However, our compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is significantly above the stated minimum salary.
