Senior Cloud Architect (m/f/d) - T Cloud Public

Job Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and develop OpenStack-based services on the cloud platform.
• Plan and drive automation using common frameworks.
• Develop physical and virtual network architecture with IT security considerations.
• Collaborate with specialists on public cloud and open-source technology topics.
• Prepare materials for presentations and advise management on technology decisions.
• Improve platform architecture with a focus on IT security.
• Design and develop innovative platform and software-as-a-service features.
• Act as a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
• Perform practical work on a console to support architecture work.
• Consistently implement automation with common frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field or equivalent professional training.
• 5-7 years of experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
• Experience in infrastructure automation.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, system tools, and network-related services.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.
• Mentoring and presentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions and develop creative approaches.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Must work within the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements.

Preferred

• OpenStack experience.
• Programming experience in open-source projects.
