Job Description
The Production Department is looking for a driven PLC Engineer with the vision to match our ambition. The role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining PLC-based control systems for advanced manufacturing lines.
Your tasks include:
- Developing, programming, and optimizing PLC control systems for automated production equipment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving automation and control system issues.
- Commissioning new production equipment and automation systems.
- Improving and standardizing machine automation, safety systems, and process controls.
- Supporting integration of robots, sensors, drives, and industrial communication systems.
- Collaborating with process engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
- Analyzing production data to identify automation improvements.
- Documenting PLC programs and system architecture.
- Supporting continuous improvement and industrialization of new production technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience programming PLC systems, preferably Siemens TIA Portal.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, sensors, drives, and fieldbus communication.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with commissioning new equipment or production lines is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Kuka robots and/or Trumpf laser is a major advantage.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
