Job Description

The role involves working with children who display challenging behavior. Candidates should have experience in special needs education, particularly with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs. The position requires excellent behavior management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people and staff. A Team Teach or similar restraint training certificate is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work with secondary-aged pupils with severe complex needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to define appropriate activities.
• Assess children with learning difficulties and identify special needs.
• Liaise with professionals such as social workers and therapists.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience with SEN and EBD.
• Mental health experience.
• ASD knowledge.
• Current DBS on the update service.
• Full UK driving licence.
