Lead developer

Your Role

As a Lead Developer, you are the technical link between the CTO and the development team. You help determine the technical direction of the AI platform, ensure quality, and enable the team to develop efficiently and with focus. In this role, you combine technical leadership with hands-on development and decision-making. You translate product and business objectives into a clear technical architecture and ensure its consistent application. You take ownership of the platform and are responsible for technical choices, stability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead and coach the development team
• Act as the point of contact for the development team for support
• Serve as a bridge between the CTO and development
• Determine and oversee the technical architecture of the AI platform with the CTO
• Actively contribute to development, especially in complex technical challenges
• Conduct and guide code reviews
• Establish and monitor development standards and best practices
• Consider performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Encourage knowledge sharing and team growth

What We Expect From You

• Several years of experience as a senior or lead developer
• Strong technical foundation and overview of complex systems
• Excellent knowledge of .NET, Angular, and Azure
• Experience with modern platform and cloud architectures
• Affinity with AI or data-driven products
• Ability to make and substantiate technical decisions
• Strong communication skills and a natural leadership style
• Hands-on mentality combined with strategic insight
• Full-time on-site work in Hasselt
