About the Role
The Integration Engineer will focus on ensuring that various software components or modules work correctly in an integrated system. You will deliver high-quality software solutions and shape the future of secure air traffic.
Responsibilities
- Integrate software modules, microservices, COTS hardware, and third-party components into virtual and physical X10 system environments.
- Verify overall system behavior under load, network changes, failover scenarios, and other realistic operational situations.
- Analyze logs, signaling flows, and network traces to investigate issues and identify causes.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based infrastructure, container environments, and lab equipment.
- Document test activities, results, risks, and open points clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to clarify requirements, technical constraints, and integration risks.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in system integration, service engineering, or testing distributed systems (advantageous: real-time or VoIP environments).
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or university) in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of Linux, network fundamentals, and troubleshooting methods.
- Practical experience with containers, virtualization, and system deployments.
- Ability to analyze timing, load, and system interactions to understand complex behavior.
- Structured and reliable work style, good communication skills, and willingness to travel occasionally.
