EDA Engineer

I am recruiting for an EDA Engineer to join my client, a fast-growing company building advanced tools for IC design.

This is a key role focused on developing and optimising proprietary EDA workflows to support the design of advanced ICs.

The position involves taking ownership of tool development, automation, and verification environments, while working closely with IC design teams to ensure accuracy, performance, and robustness in extreme environments.

Key experience:

• Strong background in developing EDA tools or related products
• Familiarity with Cadence or Siemens ecosystems (e.g. OA, PDKs, plug ins)
• Proficiency in C++ or Python
• Previous experience in a commercial EDA company or a smaller specialised startup
• Understanding of IC design challenges, especially analog or RF, is a plus
