Data Analytics Engineer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and refine data from various sources, designing and operating efficient ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design and manage data warehouse models, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Verify and monitor data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, establishing processes for quality improvement.
• Enhance data accessibility and quality by organizing and updating metadata.
• Support query performance improvement and data accessibility for analysts and scientists.
• Learn and integrate the latest data technologies and AI to enhance performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines (SQL-based, 4+ years).
• Experience in operating and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience in data processing and automation using Python.
• Experience in data modeling and schema design.
• Experience in identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Ability to structure and analyze complex data issues, identifying root causes and solutions.
• Ability to explain technical requirements in business terms and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to automate and optimize data tasks using AI-based development tools and prompt engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data warehouse project participation.
• Experience or interest in data quality management, governance, and metadata management.
• Experience in large-scale data processing using Apache Spark.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• Background in computer science or equivalent professional knowledge.
