Your Task

This position is for a Cloud DevOps Engineer in the Tolling Services Team. You will be part of a team of IT professionals specializing in electronic toll systems, developing and operating intelligent, kilometer-based toll systems for international clients. This role involves working in an international team to support clients with state-of-the-art toll solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS using services like EKS, EC2, and S3.
  • Collaborate closely with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Work with development teams to automate infrastructure, improve processes, and support the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring proper scaling, resilience, and security.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure.
  • Automate and maintain configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Provide on-call support for production environments, responding to incidents to ensure rapid recovery and minimal downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve DevOps processes and infrastructure.

Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified Cloud DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS services, containerization, and infrastructure automation to support our Tolling Services Team in developing and operating intelligent toll systems.

Must-Have Criteria

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience in the IT field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on AWS services, particularly EKS and EC2.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Artifactory.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and work in a team.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Experience working with agile teams.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • German language skills.
