Job Description

In this key role, you will ensure that the media technology systems at our location run reliably and that complex supply and piping systems are kept up to date.

You will take on the technical responsibility for the entire media supply of our location in Gmunden and, together with internal partners and external specialist companies, ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of water, heating, ventilation, steam, pressure, and neutralization systems. With your technical know-how, strong safety awareness, and focus on sustainability, you will play a central role in industrial plant operations, with room for creativity, clear structures, and the support of an experienced technical team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Technical responsibility and coordination of media technology systems at the location (water, heating, ventilation, steam, pressure, and neutralization systems) in close cooperation with internal interfaces
• Planning, integration, and renovation of piping and supply systems including project management
• Technical support for all media, steam, pressure, and wastewater systems at the location
• Organization and coordination of external companies for conversions and maintenance measures
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of maintenance and operating specifications
• Owner of technical documentation according to internal systematics (change management)
• Safe and responsible handling of acids, alkalis, pressure systems, and environmentally relevant media
• Active participation in sustainability and energy efficiency projects

Our Expectations:

• Completed technical training (apprenticeship or higher) in the field of plant, building, or supply technology
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally with: boiler or steam systems, wastewater and neutralization systems, or media and piping technology
• Sound knowledge in the design and maintenance of industrial piping systems
• Confident handling of MS Office (Excel, Word) and SAP
• Ability to read technical plans, CAD knowledge is an advantage
• Structured, conscientious, and responsible working style
• Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and holistic thinking as well as pronounced safety and environmental awareness
• Occasional planned assignments outside of regular working hours (e.g., during conversions or shutdowns) – of course with appropriate planning and compensation

For this position, we offer you an entry-level monthly gross salary from €3,200.00 (full-time/38.5h) in an employment relationship. Depending on experience and expertise, we will determine the actual amount together.
