AI Engineer

Job Description

As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models using diverse data types such as images, time series, and text. You will also participate in organizing and managing data analysis competitions, applying cutting-edge AI technologies to real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI models for classification, detection, generation, time series prediction, and optimization.
• Implement deep learning models using Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Preprocess data, extract features, and design evaluation metrics for various data types.
• Deploy models as APIs and implement them in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Organize and manage data analysis competitions, including defining challenges, creating datasets, and designing evaluation criteria.
• Manage projects from proof of concept to product implementation.
• Collaborate with research teams to validate and implement the latest technologies and algorithms.

Requirements

• Experience in developing AI/machine learning models using Python.
• Experience in building and training deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of machine learning theory and model evaluation.
• Experience in team development using Git.
• Business-level English proficiency for smooth communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Kaggle (Master level or above) or winning medals in global data analysis competitions.
• Experience in building training and inference environments on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Experience in inference optimization using Docker/CUDA/TensorRT.
• Experience in developing natural language processing (LLM, RAG, etc.) or image generation (Diffusion Models, etc.).
• Practical experience using OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, Flask.
• Experience in reproducing research papers and applying them to real-world tasks.
• Experience in organizing and managing competitions or technical events.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese or other languages.
