Responsibilities
- Integration and verification of systems in special vehicles, focusing on quality, functionality, and safety of installed components.
- Integration of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems in special vehicles.
- Verification of the correct functioning of installed systems.
- Review of technical documentation and plans.
- Coordination with production, quality, and mechanical departments.
- Participation in improvement and innovation projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in system integration or testing in industrial or special vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanics applied to vehicles.
- Ability to interpret plans and technical documentation.
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented person.

Job Description
The company is looking for an experienced IoT / Smart Home Engineer to support a high-impact cross-protocol IoT project starting immediately. The goal is to extract and normalize data across multiple building bus systems and smart home protocols, including standard telemetry and device-level metadata such as firmware versions, topology information, capabilities, and discovery data.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and, where necessary, reverse-engineer relevant protocol layers
- Design a protocol-agnostic data structure combining telemetry and device metadata
- Develop and maintain connectors/adapters for data extraction
- Focus on discovery, device fingerprinting, mapping, and normalization
- Document realistically extractable data per protocol
Profile
- Solid understanding of building automation (bus systems, gateways, commissioning, topologies)
- Experience with several protocols such as KNX, Modbus, BACnet, Zigbee/Z-Wave, Matter/Thread, MQTT
- Strong programming skills (ideally Python, Node.js, or Go)
- Experience with Docker, REST APIs, and tools like Wireshark
- Ability to understand and clearly document encoding/decoding, addressing, and protocol internals
- English or German language skills

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the Databricks platform in Azure.
- Develop and maintain deployment automation using Azure DevOps (and progressively GitHub as part of the migration).
