Main Tasks

Based on the concept of Life on Board, the following tasks will be performed:

• Formulation of next-generation LoB strategy
• Development of next-generation LoB devices/systems
• Creation of PoC (Proof of Concept) vehicles and value verification

The concept of Life on Board aims to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable travel space, encouraging people to spend more time in cars and make effective use of time through seamless integration inside and outside the vehicle.

Skills and Experience Required

Annual salary range: Monthly salary (reference value) 230,000 JPY to 439,000 JPY. The total will be determined comprehensively considering experience and expertise.

Estimated annual income (reference value) is approximately 4,100,000 JPY to 7,800,000 JPY, calculated as monthly salary x 12 months + bonus (reference value). Bonus amounts are reference values and are determined at the time of actual payment.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our mobile team. This role requires expertise in developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, performant applications on both the Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate is a full-stack mobile developer who can drive feature development from conception to deployment on either operating system, ensuring a consistent, excellent user experience across all devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement new features and user interfaces for flagship mobile applications on both Android and iOS, ensuring parity and consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver scalable, robust mobile solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to established best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and internal backend systems.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness, addressing memory leaks, battery consumption, and rendering bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Manage app submission and release processes for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in native mobile application development.
• Proven track record of building and launching successful, high-quality applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Expert-level command of Kotlin (or Java) for Android and Swift (or Objective-C) for iOS.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance monitoring, debugging, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks is a plus, but native expertise is paramount.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and internationalization/localization best practices.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.

Android Expertise Required

• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with screen size/density variations.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (and potentially Java) for native Android development.
• Experience with modern Android Jetpack libraries.
• Familiarity with Android build systems.

iOS Expertise Required

• Deep knowledge of the iOS SDK, different versions of iOS, and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
• Proficiency in Swift (and potentially Objective-C) for native iOS development.
• Experience with modern iOS frameworks.
• Familiarity with Xcode and the iOS build process.

As a Training and Development Mentor, the main challenge is to ensure operational efficiency based on training and to have the shortest learning curve for the commercial impact of the university with the correct execution of training processes, onboarding, and administrative management of the Digital Attraction area, through standardization, control, and continuous improvement of workflows.

• Coordinate and follow up on the training processes of the Remote Education team, ensuring alignment with professional development objectives and institutional goals based on onboarding.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute internal activities such as events, conventions, and integration dynamics, strengthening teamwork, motivation, and facilitating logistics of goals based on onboarding and institutional movements.
• Conduct mapping, progress of the team after their training to see progress or reinforcement, implement training improvements through analysis, identifying optimization opportunities if mapping persists in the same coordination to reinforce specialized topics by team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned mobile/web modules — from technical design through development, testing, and deployment
• Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality, maintainable Flutter code
• Build reusable component libraries and enforce consistent design system implementation across the app
• Integrate RESTful APIs, manage authentication flows, and handle offline data synchronisation

Must-have Skills

• 5-8 years of professional Flutter/Dart development with at least 2 production apps published on Play Store or App Store
• Deep understanding of Flutter state management — Riverpod, Bloc, or Provider — with ability to justify pattern choice per use case
• Proficiency in clean architecture or domain-driven design patterns in Flutter — repository pattern, dependency injection, separation of concerns
• REST API integration — HTTP client setup, interceptors, token management, error handling, pagination, and response caching
• Dart language fundamentals — async/await, streams, isolates, null safety, generics, mixins, extension methods
• Custom widget development — not just composing Material widgets but building custom painters, animations, and gesture handlers
• Platform channel experience — calling native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) code from Flutter for device-specific functionality
• Device API integration — camera with custom overlays, GPS/geolocation, local storage, file system, push notifications (FCM/APNs)
