Job Responsibilities
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will be closely involved in the development of new mobility concepts for the future. As an important part of the hardware development team, you will design and analyze inverters in traction drives. Your main tasks include:
- Design, analysis, and simulation of inverters in traction drives focusing on the power section and its structure (power module and its control, DC link capacitor, busbars, etc.)
- Design and selection of core components, optimization of designs regarding performance, efficiency, and cost
- Specification and execution of development-related tests
- Documentation of designs, conducting worst-case analyses
- Support in creating PCB layouts
- Participation in the development of the technical safety concept, conducting functional safety analyses (e.g., FMEDA, DFA)
- Active further development of concepts/designs for future applications
- Close collaboration with the electronics, design, and hardware test team
Qualifications
- Successfully completed education (TU/FH) in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or similar
- Several years of experience in power electronics development, solid knowledge of possible inverter topologies, semiconductor technologies, gate drivers, DC link capacitors
- Very good knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility / EMC-compliant design
- Knowledge in the field of functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262)
- Functional understanding of complex systems consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software
- Experience with Altium Designer, LTSpice, Mathcad, Matlab is an advantage
- Very good English skills in speaking and writing
Compensation
We offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross annual salary (for 38.5 hours) according to the collective agreement of the vehicle industry is at least €63,000. An overpayment is common practice based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Implement Data Science projects based on image, text, and speech inputs.
- Create AI and rule-based text analysis models in collaboration with business analysts and departments.

- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry is advantageous.
